DR. OCTOPUS CLINICAL'S _ Was Madonna tribute to Aretha that scandalous ???

Yesterday, during the annual MTV VMA ceremony, Madonna who celebrated her sixtieth birthday, have been asked to pay tribute to the monument, Aretha Franklin who died last thursday. Unluckily, this salute displeased the major party of the public. Why did they blamed her ? Because of a self centered homage and a grossly appropriated dress style. Does this outburst is justified ??? Did Madonna went too far ???

If you are very active on social medias, you may have noticed that lately, a lot of web users criticized Madonna's VMA speech in memory of the most beautiful voice on earth, Aretha Franklin. You can read these types of messages :

Well in my opinion, this lynching is really not justified. Madonna obviously tried to talk about her lived experience (organizing committees asked for it) to show the impact Aretha had on her carreer. "It was by singing an Aretha song that i had a record deal" and she thanked her. She also did not forget to say that every single person in the room, owed a lot of gratitude to the queen of soul. So why did these lines ignited fire on Twitter ? 

Talking about yourself in an homage, it is getting it emotional and i think she just tried to distinguish herself. Was she supposed to say shitty things like ; "Nia nia nia, we're sad, nia nia nia', or worse, read Aretha's Wikipedia page ?  Honestly, what a band of hecklers these haters make !!! Come on bitches, she is Madonna !!!

Since her debut, Madonna has always honored other cultures without ever disrespecting them ; gay, black, arab, christian. By the way afro-american community should be grateful to her, who has always spotlighted them. So, why justify his annoyance, accusing her of cultural appropriation ??? Yes, Madonna chosed a berber outfit because she's a world citizen, nothing more. This is the more illegitimate reproach that we can do to her. Being inspired by the world belongs to artists. 

My mother has berbers origins, and i don't think that she feels humiliated or looted by Madonna. And i even more don't believe moroccans are offensed by Madonna's choice, because during her trip, she did'nt stopped sharing the local culture. Go watch her Instagram, where you can find a lot of positive things about Marrakech. If Moroccans are not offended by this gown, why should americans open their mouth ? Aretha became the queen because the whole world sacred her !!! Whatever, i congratulate Hassan Hajjaj Larache work for this amazing outfit.

What is the moral of this story ? Can only black people pay homage to Aretha ? Does only Morocans can wear berber outfits ?

Come on, Madonna, do as you always did, let the critics critic and haters hate. And make us dream as usual. Love you (only my opinion) !!! And most important thing ; music is not about being white, black or arab.
